Commissions
Two of the commissions I have been working on since the Country Living Spring fair have been fireplaces.
I made white mosaic panels using a variety of glass and ceramic tiles, and popped in small interesting pieces of old china, a few shiney lustre tiles which catch the light and flat pebbles from nearby Buddleigh Salterton.
Courses
There have been three weekend courses all of which were very productive and fun. Sorry I can’t fit everybody in!
Community
Two community projects have been completed this year. A panel made by Mums at the Rose Hill Family Centre in Oxford welcoming people as they enter.
At Barton Family Centre participants have made some wonderful 3d birds, a chicken, a turtle and a very stylish birdbath.
Heart Chakras
I am presently working on making more heart panels. The green one was a commission to fit in with Karen's bedroom colours, the pink one is a memorial to my grandma using some of her rather chipped old pottery which brings back lots of happy memories!
Parties
A new addition to the parties this summer was a Hen Party. Ten lovely hens gathered together for a day of creativity before their night out. It was a very sociable fun day with some fantastic mosaic mirrors, hearts and a box produced.
